A total of 1,019 students of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) have cracked the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2019 conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee. As per reports, 6094 KVS students had appeared for JEE Advanced 2019. The JEE Advanced result was announced on June 14.
JEE Advanced Result 2019: 5,356 female candidates pass
Out of the total 38,705 candidates who have qualified/cleared the JEE Advanced 2019 exam, 5,356 are female candidates.
JEE Advanced Result 2019: Topper among female candidates
Shabnam Sahay from Madhapur has topped among female candidates. She has scored a total of 308 marks out of 372. Shabnam has secured rank 10 in the Common Rank List of JEE Advanced.
IIT JEE Advanced Result 2019: Last year result data
The JEE advanced exam 2018 was conducted on May 20, after the JEE mains results declared in April this year. Over 1, 60,000 students appeared for the JEE Advanced exam. Reports, however, suggest that a much lesser number of students appeared for the examination.
Pranav Goyal from Roorkee zone got All India Rank 1 in the JEE Advanced Exam. Meenal Parakh was the topper among girls from Roorkee zone.
The JEE Advanced is conducted for admissions in 23 IITs and NITs across the country.
The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan was registered as a society under the Societies Registration Act. on December 15, 1965.
The primary aim of the Sangathan is to provide, establish, endow, maintain, control and manage the Central Schools (Kendriya Vidyalayas) located all over India and abroad.
